Nathan Davies

About
Nathan Davies is an artist based in Bristol, whose practice focuses on transforming philosophical concepts into thought-provoking visual forms. Working primarily with painting, Davies also experiments with drawing and found objects, emphasising the importance of ideas over medium or style. For him, the concept drives the creation process, with the choice of materials serving as a platform for the meaning. His work takes influence from artists such as Jeremy Deller, Jenny Holzer, Barbara Kruger and René Magritte. Davies' work has been exhibited in galleries such as Two Queens and LCB Depot in Leicester, as well as other locations across the East Midlands.
